Contract Details:

This is a full-time, permanent position with a competitive salary and benefits package. The Director of Facilities will report directly to the CEO and will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of facility management for our company.

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Facilities to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facility management and a proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement facility management policies and procedures to ensure the efficient operation of our company's facilities.

- Oversee the maintenance and repair of all company facilities, including offices, warehouses, and construction sites.

- Manage the budget for facility operations and maintenance, ensuring cost-effective solutions are implemented.

- Collaborate with project managers to ensure that all new construction projects meet the company's standards for quality, safety, and sustainability.

- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective services.

- Oversee the hiring, training, and management of facility staff, including maintenance technicians and janitorial staff.

- Conduct regular inspections of company facilities to identify and address any maintenance or safety issues.

- Develop and implement emergency preparedness plans to ensure the safety of employees and company assets.

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in facility management to continually improve our operations.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Business Administration, or related field.

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in facility management, preferably in the construction industry.

- Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to effectively manage a team.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

- Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and facility management software.

- Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
